Nori sheets are a convenient way to make sure your herbivorous and omniverous fish are getting the vegetable proteins, minerals and vitamins they require. Nori also contains carotenes, as well as putative immuno-stimulants, such as phycocyanin, which can help fish in captivity resist disease. Nori is harvested from pristine coastal waters, carefully pressed and dried to preserve vitamin and mineral elements. Our green nori sheets dissolve more slowly and are less messy than other dark roasted sheets. Nori, also called "laver," provides nutritional balance for marine herbivores such as tangs, angelfish, wrasses, surgeonfish, blennies and butterflyfish. It contains significant amounts of Vitamin C and Vitamin B12. Approximately 30% protein.
